ATTENTION ALL CURRENT DORMITORY STUDENTS SOPHOMORE HOUSING APPLICATION DEADLINE

If you are currently enrolled at Holmes Community College as a dormitory student and plan to return for the 2019 fall semester, you must complete a sophomore housing application online beginning on Monday, April 1st and ending on Monday, April 15th. The sophomore application will be available online for completion and may be accessed through the “My Holmes” student portal under the CAMPUS ANNOUNCEMENTS section labeled SOPHOMORE HOUSING APPLICATION beginning at 12:00 a.m. midnight on April 1st and ending at 11:59 p.m. on April 15th. This application is for current dormitory residents only. The application will be sent directly to my e-mail address. If you are unable to access this link, please visit my office to complete the application in person. If you do not submit an application during this two week time period, you will forfeit your space to another incoming student. The application will only be available online during these two weeks. Any student who wishes to turn in an application after this time will have to visit the Student Housing Office to receive the application. Understand that your space will not be saved for you next semester should you not submit the application online, within the designated time frame. It is your responsibility to take care of this requirement.

Students reserving the same room for another year will be given first choice. If you want your same space back, please indicate this as your first choice on the application and leave the second choice line blank. If you want to request a room other than the one to which you are now assigned, please indicate this as your first choice and list your present dormitory room as your second choice on the line provided. Please remember that if you request another room to which you are not now assigned, that space may be unavailable if the current student in that room returns. Please make sure that your second choice is your old room. Open rooms are assigned on a first-come, first serve basis, so you have to act fast to increase your chances of getting the space you request. Applications received will indicate both time and date submitted.

Regardless of financial aid or scholarship status, you do not have a room reserved until your application is completed and submitted online.

Remember that the roommate you request must also turn in his/her housing application at the same time you do. You must indicate their name on your application as roommate preference. Your housing application only reserves one space.
